What you'll do

As a Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC), you will ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective deliveries from assigned suppliers to support smooth production.
In doing so, your key responsibilities will be to:

* Ensure deliveries meet timing, quality, quantity, and cost targets.
* Monitor suppliers daily and act promptly on any deviations.
* Communicate regularly with suppliers and internal teams.
* Manage various logistics flows (Batch, P-lane, JIT, JIS..).
* Support the onboarding of new suppliers.
* Support to define the required stock levels and supply parameters.
* Drive inventory improvements (Stock level, Unit load, FTL, ...), create logistics claims towards suppliers in case they don't fulfil our requirements and follow up on performance.
* Handle material changes to avoid production stops and overstock.
* Reduce obsolete material through coordination with intercompany teams.
* Supervise Business Control (Blue Collars) as needed.
* Work according to Volvo standards and strive to meet KPIs.
* Collaborate, support teammates, and complete assigned tasks.

What you'll bring

* Several years of previous working experience in Supply Chain and preferably from an OEM.
* Prefered university education in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Strong leadership skills, effective communication, cooperation and strategic thinking.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to evaluate a risk.
* Positive mindset, self-motivated, results-oriented, flexible and responsible person
* Flexibility, being able not only to work under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project, but thrive in such a fast-paced environment, while following the highest ethical standards.
* Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships also in case of constraints.
* Understanding of Tier 1 supplier operation, batch, P-lane, JIT and JIS flows.
* Experience with international and domestic supplier communications.
* MS office skills, SAP preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, conversational in the English language, written and spoken, since the team is international, and preferably in Slovak;
* Ability to work a variable schedule as required.

Compensation Data

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 1.850 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
