Let's introduce ourselves
As a one of the production and process leaders in Mega Casting & Machining, you will be an integral part of a new organization and real production, pursuing our mission to provide the best casting process and manufacturing of products that accelerate the world to sustainable energy. You will work closely with our management, engineering, maintenance and project teams in the early and stabilization phases of the machining process development and equipment to identify manufacturing risks associated with our proposed designs and procedures, always aiming to improve and stabilize main KPIs, cycle time, yield, OEE, and quality.

Location: Valaliky Industrial Park, Kosice district, Slovakia
Work hours: Shift-based aligned with factory production hours, day shifts
What you'll do
* Equipment Installation, Leadership, Operating Equipment, Operations Management, Production Planning;
* Supervise a group or team of operational contributors within the machining area in multi-shift operations and organize their daily workflow;
* Ensure that all team members have the necessary tools, resources, and prerequisites to perform their jobs safely and effectively;
* People planning and management, including short and long-term resource planning, holiday scheduling, and sickness management;
* Communicate job expectations clearly, provide necessary instructions and feedback to team members;
* Control and manage all technology parameters, set up the process parameters and controls to standardize the production process while achieving the quality of the product and process;
* Quality Management System - contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the quality management system (QMS) and to support the design, development, and documentation of new policies, procedures, and business processes;
* Coordinate maintenance interventions, including Die maintenance;
* Lead people and machining processes (Manufacturing, Assembly, Supply Chain, Cost, Serviceability, Sustainability, Reliability, Safety, etc.) and work closely with product design engineering teams to ensure that critical changes are incorporated in a timely manner;
* Oversee operator instructions, critical parameters, checklists, and training materials for assigned operations, update special equipment service manuals, including BOMs, needed processes, technical expertise, and tooling for optimisation of production runs;
* Production planning - contribute data and information to production plans, run reports, check accuracy, and distribute information;
* Drive process improvements, cost reduction activities, and continuous improvement activities;
* Provide training plans and execute training for team members.
What you'll bring
* Several years of previous working experience in a highly automated production environment OEM/Tier1, in a Supervisor/Shift Leader function, preferably associated with machining/CNC or stamping;
* Good understanding of the manufacturing processes 5S, Standard Work, Andon, JIT, and real-time production management;
* Good understanding of the interactions between the die casting process conditions and how they influence the metallurgical and structural integrity of casted aluminum components;
* Experience in the development of manufacturing processes and setup of processes, machines, and process parameters;
* Preferred university education in Industrial, Mechanical, Material Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience;
* Experience transitioning products from prototype to production;
* Experience in defining and assessing quality standards associated with common manufacturing processes, including drawing specifications, limit samples, and incoming/outgoing quality control points;
* People development abilities and coaching skills;
* Flexibility, being able not only to work under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project, but thrive in such a fast-paced environment;
* Excellent communication skills, conversational in the Slovak language, written and spoken, and preferably in English;
* Not only an individual contributor attitude, but also a demonstrated ability to work within a multinational team, influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
* Ability and willingness to travel within Europe, although based in Košice District, Slovakia.
Compensation Data
Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 1.850 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
