Job Description:
At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city's newest and most prestigious luxury hotels, we are looking for a qualified, proactive, and service-oriented Guest Services Officer to join our Front Office team.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth, personalized, and memorable experience for all guests throughout their stay, acting as a main point of contact from arrival to departure.

About the Role
As a Guest Services Officer, you will act as an ambassador of the Hyatt brand, coordinating every detail of the guest journey with empathy, precision, and professionalism.
This is an operational position with a rotating schedule, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to hotel operational needs. You will work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure a seamless and high-quality guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out experience
* Provide personalized assistance and respond to guest requests with efficiency and care
* Coordinate room assignments, amenities, VIP setups, and special requests
* Maintain clear communication with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments
* Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and in-house guests to anticipate needs
* Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly, ensuring positive outcomes
* Support the preparation of welcome letters, room keys, and guest preferences
* Participate in daily briefings and contribute to service improvement initiatives
* Represent the Grand Hyatt brand with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail

Requirements & Profile
* Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
* Previous experience in Front Office or coordinating stays/groups in large-capacity hotels
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
* Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team
* Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS, Channel Manager; Opera experience is a plus)
* Strong guest focus and attention to detail
* Professional, dynamic, and service-driven attitude
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
