About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated PMO Analyst to join the Program Management Office within Global operations Services (GOS) at our Madrid office. The role is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in Project management, Agile and SAFe methodologies and a strong interest in driving business transformation through data, automation and digital solutions. In this role you will support the PMO function in governance, reporting and delivery while also contributing to transformation initiatives through value driven automation while working alongside stakeholders across Operations teams as well as the entire organization.
In this Role, You Will:
* Support end to end project lifecycle management coordinating across teams ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectation and adherence to timelines. Supporting in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives and maintaining relevant documentation.
* Build and maintain program level and GOS wide dashboards that transform data into insight driven action items to support decision making and contribute to process improvements
* Work with teams to identify and scope opportunities for automation through RPA/ML use cases for process efficiency, tracking benefits realised through continuous improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to the tracking and delivery of team OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to ensure alignment with business priorities and success metrics
* Build and refine essential skills in project management, communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership within a supportive and high-performing environment
What You Need to Be Successful:
Background:
* 2+ years of experience in financial services, demonstrating a track record of expanding responsibilities and participating in the end-to-end rollout of projects
* 2+ years of experience in data analytics, dashboarding and reporting
* Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Atlassian Analytics and JIRA reporting
* Good understanding of SQL , JQL or Python (optional)
* 2+ years of experience working in fast-paced environments, ideally within project management, consulting, or a related field
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not required
Skills
* Good functional understanding and implementation of Agile ways of working and able to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in ways of working and project delivery workflows
* Demonstrate an understanding of strategic concepts , planning, execution and monitoring of projects and initiatives by providing data analysis , governance support and process coordination.
* You have experience in BPO Vendor Management / Industry
* Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and to be able to build and maintain project / portfolio metric dashboards that are insightful and value driven
* A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for project management and operational excellence
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
* Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders across functions and levels and have the ability to grasp requirements easily and deliver outcomes in line with stakeholder expectations.
* Ability to deal with ambiguity
* An interest in developing skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, automation and process improvement
* A growth mindset, with an agile, "get things done" approach to problem-solving
* Interest in the banking industry and a desire to expand your knowledge of both banking and project management
