Job Description:

CREAF is seeking a qualifield technical of the SEVERO OCHOA project, with ref. CEX2023-001340-S, funded by Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades and Agencia Estatal de Investigación.

A full-time contract is offered (37.5 hours per week), with a planned start date between June and July 2026. The position will last at least until December 2027, with the possibility of extension if required and if the budget allows. The offered salary is EUR30.334,66 gross per year (corresponding to category T3B).

MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Policies:
* Design a roadmap for the administration of the CREAF's scientific and management data.
* Develop and implement protocols for the collection, organization, documentation, storage, reservation, and accessibility of CREAF's scientific and management data. These processes must be aligned with institutional policies, especially those related to open science, personal data protection, and intellectual property. Once formalized, these processes will form part of the centre's Process Map and Quality Policy.
* Promote and monitor compliance with legal and ethical obligations for data management.
* Promote the publication of the centre's data.

Technical Services:
* Identify and inventory CREAF's scientific and management databases.
* Ensure the availability of data and metadata generated by CREAF according to the FAIR principles: assisting in the creation of metadata, data publication, providing guidelines to ensure interoperability, and defining appropriate usage licenses.
* Provide support for extracting and visualizing management data and metadata, and for feeding systems such as PRC, UNEIX, and others.
* Support the centre's staff in process reproducibility and version control.

Infrastructures:
* Review the records of datasets deposited in the CORA RDR repository according to FAIR principles, ensuring their integrity and compliance with regulations such as GDPR.
* Review the Data Management Plans (DMPs) prepared by CREAF staff.
* Manage the institutional CRM databases.
* Participate in the implementation, migration, or improvement processes of research data and information management systems (e.g., Current Research Information System, CRIS).
* Inventory the datasets and data management systems produced by the centre.

Culture and Community:
* Participate in the internal data management committee to channel and promote new needs: training, tools, processes, etc.
* Provide advisory services to the centre's research groups.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Information and Documentation Management, Computer Engineering with a specialization in Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience with FAIR and CARE research data management.
* At least 2 to 3 years of experience in organizing, storing, documenting, and ensuring the accessibility of data, including the use of tools for processing and managing large volumes of data.
* Languages: Catalan, Spanish, and English at a minimum level of B2 (CEFR).
* Soft skills: attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously without supervision.

ASSESSABLE CONDITIONS:
* Experience in academic environments and understanding of the research lifecycle.
* Knowledge of open licenses for sharing and reusing research data.
* Experience using CRM, CRIS systems, and data visualization tools.
* Candidates with a recognised disability equal to or greater than 33% will be considered and prioritised, provided the disability is compatible wiht proper job performance.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA:
