Job Description:

We are looking for a highly driven Automation & Digitalization Engineer who thrives on designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that streamline business processes.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming manual, repetitive workflows into reliable, user-friendly digital tools leveraging Excel VBA, Power Automate, and integrated data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Excel VBA Automation:
* Design, develop, and maintain complex Excel VBA solutions that interact with SAP, SharePoint, and other business systems.
* Build robust logging, error handling, and monitoring frameworks for reliability and traceability.
* Automate manual SAP transactions and reporting workflows through advanced HID simulation and scripting.
* Process Digitalization:
* Map, analyze, and re-engineer business processes to identify automation opportunities.
* Build end-to-end automation solutions that integrate Excel, SAP, OneDrive/SharePoint, and other internal systems.
* Develop Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, file management, and system integrations.
* Data Management & Reporting:
* Create dynamic dashboards and reporting tools to consolidate data from multiple sources (Excel, CSV, SAP exports, JSON, SQLite).
* Implement KPIs, weekly metrics, and automated calculations for supplier management, capacity planning, and audit tracking.
* Ensure data accuracy and traceability across multi-system workflows.
* User Tools & Interfaces:
* Develop Excel-based userforms and toolkits (menus, dropdowns, dashboards, graphical reports) with multi-language support.
* Implement modern UI/UX principles within Excel (dark/light mode toggles, dynamic frames, charts, and controls).
* Build intuitive applications that empower colleagues to run complex processes without technical expertise.
* System Integration & Reliability:
* Build solutions that work seamlessly within IT restrictions (e.g., no SAP GUI scripting).
* Ensure automations run on dedicated machines/servers with fail-safes and monitoring dashboards.
* Collaborate with IT, operations, and management to ensure solutions are scalable and compliant.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience in Excel VBA development with advanced automation, logging, and debugging.
* Strong knowledge of Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Office integration.
* Experience working with SAP (transactions, ALV grids, exports, etc.) in automated workflows.
* Familiarity with data pipelines (CSV, JSON, SQL/SQLite, Excel consolidation).
* Ability to design user-friendly interfaces and dashboards in Excel or related platforms.
* Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of Python, SQL, or other scripting languages for extended automation.
* Experience with SharePoint integration and Power Apps.
* Familiarity with process mining and digitalization methodologies.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
