About the role

As a Technician based on-site at our Omagh manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment within a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the wider engineering and production teams to maintain performance, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement across the site.
This role operates on a rotating shift pattern, offering exposure to a dynamic production environment and opportunities to build experience across different working schedules.

Working Pattern & Benefits

* Full-time role, averaging 40 hours per week, across 7 days (including days, nights, and weekends)
* Shift patterns:
* Day shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
* Evening shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm
* Night shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am

Shift allowances apply to all shifts, with different rates depending on the shift.
* Weekend and bank holiday work paid at enhanced rates
* Overtime opportunities available

Key responsibilities

* Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment
* Diagnose faults and implement timely, effective solutions
* Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams
* Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery
* Work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
* Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Adhere to on-site quality behaviours and practices

Qualifications and skills

* Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience as a technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Flexible and adaptable, able to work effectively in a changing production environment
* Quick to learn new processes, systems, and technologies
* Works effectively with others to achieve common goals
* Good communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes
* Able to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
* Applies a structured, problem-solving approach, using data to guide actions
* Builds strong working relationships across teams
* High attention to detail, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards
