Duties and responsibilities related to the Luggage Porter - Flexi Hours role
* Deliver a warm, professional welcome and farewell to all guests, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.
* Assist guests with luggage handling promptly, safely, and efficiently, in line with luxury service standards.
* Guide guests to their rooms, providing a clear overview of hotel facilities, services, and in-room features.
* Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel entrance, lobby, and surrounding areas at all times.
* Coordinate transportation requests, including arranging taxis and offering accurate local information and directions.
* Support the Front Office team during busy periods to ensure smooth guest flow and operational efficiency.
* Respond proactively to guest requests and anticipate needs to enhance the overall guest experience.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures when handling guest belongings and working in public areas.
About you
We are looking for a well-presented, personable, and service-oriented individual with a genuine passion for hospitality. Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury or high-volume hotel environment is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive and courteous attitude, and a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. Physical fitness to handle luggage, attention to detail, and knowledge of the local area are essential. A positive, team-focused approach and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment will ensure success in this role.
