Part Qualified Accountant
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent | Smart working (3 days office / 2 days home)
We are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join our Finance team in Farnborough. This is an excellent opportunity to support accurate financial reporting, contribute to key accounting processes, and collaborate across projects and business functions.
Role Overview
* Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting in support of business and project requirements.
* Work collaboratively across finance, projects, and cost centre teams to ensure financial integrity.
* Take ownership of core accounting processes while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles.
* Operate within a hybrid working model, balancing office-based and remote collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
* Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Maintain and update financial master data in SAP B1 and Tagetik, including intercompany and timesheet reconciliations.
* Approve bank payments and freelancer invoices in line with internal controls.
* Accurately report taxable benefits to HMRC, including P11Ds and PSA requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

* Part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience, with prior experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
* Strong working knowledge of financial systems; SAP B1 experience is advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a structured environment.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
* Proactive, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards of financial accuracy and compliance
