Role Description

The Treasury Analyst in the Investment Department plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing the company's financial assets and liabilities. This position involves supporting the treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash management and forecasting.

The role also involves working closely with our local Risk Department and with Allianz Investment Management at Group centre, and preparing various investment reports for management information, on-boarding new investment guidelines, and monitoring asset manager performance

This role is based in London on a hybrid basis.

Salary Information

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

* Monitor daily cash flows and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
* Assist in forecasting cash requirements and optimizing cash positioning.
* Execute and reconcile daily cash transactions.
* Support the identification and mitigation of financial risks.
* Assist in the implementation of risk management strategies.
* Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
* Prepare regular reports on treasury activities and performance.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support treasury initiatives.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding treasury matters.
* The ideal candidate should have a solid ability to use Excel, including expertise in creating and managing complex formulas for financial analysis and reporting.
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities within treasury operations.
* Produce investment reports required by the Group and other internal committees

Essential Skills

* Previous experience in treasury, finance, or banking roles.
* The ideal candidate should have a solid ability to use Excel, including expertise in creating and managing complex formulas for financial analysis and reporting.
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities within treasury operations.
* Familiarity with treasury management systems and software is a plus.

Desirable Skills

* Professional certifications affiliated with the ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) such as CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), or similar are advantageous.
* CFA (or progress towards) or equivalent advantageous
* Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage
