EY's Capital & Debt Advisory team is a leading provider of independent financial advice to corporates, private equity sponsors, and government entities. We support our clients across a broad spectrum of capital and debt financing transactions, helping them to access funding, optimise capital structures, and manage financial risk in a rapidly evolving market environment. The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our Capital & Debt Advisory team as an Executive. In this role, you will support the delivery of strategic financing solutions and play a key part in executing complex transactions across a variety of sectors. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of clients, sectors and financing structures.

Your key responsibilities

* Conduct detailed financial analysis, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and credit assessments to support client engagements

* Assist in the preparation of client presentations, information memoranda, and transaction documentation

* Support the execution of debt and capital raising transactions, including liaising with banks, investors, and other stakeholders

* Perform market research and analysis to identify trends, potential funding sources, and benchmarking data

* Contribute to the preparation of proposals and pitches for new business opportunities

* Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality advisory services

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for:

* Strong academic background in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline

* Demonstrated interest in capital markets, debt products, and financial strategy

*

* Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Ideally, you'll also have:

* Previous internship or work experience in corporate finance, investment banking, debt advisory, or related fields

* Professional accounting/finance qualification

* Familiarity with financial modelling
