The Supply Chain Capacity Planner plays a pivotal role in optimising resource utilisation throughout the supply chain to effectively and efficiently meet demand. This position encompasses forecasting capacity requirements, analysing current and future demands, and formulating strategic plans to guarantee adequate production, storage, and transportation capabilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate robust analytical skills, a profound comprehension of supply chain dynamics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable capacity strategies.
Technical Skills Experience Required: Demonstrated experience in supply chain planning. A track record of successfully developing and constructing sophisticated planning models. A solid understanding and practical experience with budgeting processes. Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in industry-standard planning software (e.g., ERP systems, advanced planning systems) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI). Experience in ERP system roll-outs and successful transitions from one system to another. Key Competencies: Possesses strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure, manage multiple competing priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Exhibits meticulous attention to detail.
