The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated administrator to join the Accessibility team for a large-scale government transformation project for a public sector client. This role is suitable for a proactive graduate/intern with administrative experience who wants to make an impact that matters on a high-profile programme. You will be responsible for monitoring, reporting, maintaining and updating trackers ensuring that services used by UK civil servants and public sector employees are accessible. This enables public sector employees to perform their role effectively and independently, helping government deliver reliable public services while meeting its legal and ethical obligations.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitor and report on accessibility Service Requests (SRs) in My Oracle Support (MOS) Hub
* Maintain and update trackers to:
* Identify updates and reflect these in central SR trackers
* Update defect tickets in Jira (our project management and work tracking platform),
* Update defect and SR statuses in the burndown List
* Update colleagues and wider teams through agreed communication channels, including Slack
* Analyse SRs
* Correspond with Oracle to collaboratively progress SRs
Essential Skills and Experience
* Previous internship, administrative, office support or similar experience.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams.
* Strong organisational skills; able to maintain accurate records and track multiple activities simultaneously.
* Data and Analytical skills: Ability to analyse information, identify updates and highlight issues requiring attention.
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to keeping information up to date and accurate.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating with colleagues and external stakeholders.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion.
* Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced project environment.
* Willingness to learn new tools, systems and processes.
* Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise competing tasks.
* Interest in improving services and supporting inclusive and accessible technology solutions.
Deliverables: Responsibilities but not limited to:
* Extract current Service Requests from My-Oracle-Support Hub
* Update trackers:
* Identify updates and reflect these in the SR-Tracker
* Update Jira where appropriate
* Update the statuses in the BurnDown List
* Post a message on the Slack channel3. Analyse the SR
