Job Description:
As an Export Control Officer, you'll collaborate with a wide range of internal teams, including Business Development, Project Management, Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Legal, providing clear advice on regulatory requirements, processes, and compliance matters. You'll also build strong external relationships, working closely with counterparts across FalconWorks entities and partner organisations in the UK and internationally.
Core duties:
* Act as a trusted Subject Matter Expert, providing clear, confident guidance on export control regulations, procedures, and compliance queries
* Manage and submit export licence applications, working closely with the relevant regulatory bodies to ensure smooth approvals
* Build in-depth knowledge of FalconWorks™ entities, becoming a key point of expertise across the organisation
* Lead the development, implementation, and continuous review of Licensing Management Plans in collaboration with key stakeholders
* Proactively identify and deliver export licensing solutions that support the on-time delivery of FalconWorks™ products
* Play a key role in embedding and strengthening export control policies, processes, and best practices across FalconWorks entities
Essential Skills:
* Strong working knowledge of Export Control regulations, including UK and US frameworks (ITAR & EAR), with experience in licensing applications
* Have a background in:
* Engineering
* Project Management
* Commercial
* Procurement/Supply chain
* Manufacturing
* Tenacity and ability to work under pressure with limited supervision
