At the USTA National Campus, we are a passionate team focused on growing the sport of tennis and making it accessible to all. We are the largest facility in the world with 98 courts, including 32 har-tru, 38 hard, 6 red clay, 6 Indoor, 8 36ft, 4 pickleball, and 4 padel. Our team of 35+ teaching professionals delivers more than 135 classes and works with over 2,000 players per week. Annually, we have over 250,000 visitors per year.

The Role
This is a part-time hourly position designed to fulfill the needs of the campus program teaching demands. The Part-Time Tennis Teaching Professional will:
* Plan, organize, and implement high-quality lessons, clinics, camps, courses, drop-ins, and other tennis programs.
* Establish a fun, energetic, and engaged on-court experience for all players.
* Work with the Director of Tennis and Head Professionals to identify areas of growth, options for increased revenue, or issues needing resolution.
* Use self-promotion and networking to increase client engagement.
Major Duties:
* Teach clinics, group lessons, private lessons, organize round robins, and assist with any programs, events, or intern training as needed.
* Assist with promotion of programs.
* Teach in camps including summer camps.
* Assist with tennis events as needed.
* Other duties as assigned by the Director.
Junior and Adult Teaching:
* Prior experience in R-O-G-Y tennis methodology preferred
* Ability to work in a variety of settings such as summer camp, instructional clinics, and with children of all ages
* Comfortable working with 4-6 players in a group clinic format
* Ability to run dynamic drop-in tennis sessions with up to 8 players
* Experience training USTA players and teams
Who You Are
*
Must be USTA Coaching certified. PTR and RSPA certifications are considered.
* Strong playing skills, 4.0+ rating preferred
* Coordinated, highly motivated, prompt, ambitious, and enthusiastic
* Proficient digital literacy and willingness to use IT
* A customer-focused demeanor and a passion for working with people
* Willing to align with the USTA National Campus Teaching Philosophy
* Attend professional development trainings & meetings
* Willing to receive CPR and AED certifications and undergo a background check

What We Offer
This is an hourly position with an expected pay rate between $40.00 - $50.00 per hour. The actual salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
