Sodexo is seeking a per diem Registered Dietitian for Beth Israel Deaconess Needham Outpatient Nutrition clinic located at 145 Rosemary St, Needham, MA. You'll provide outpatient medical nutrition therapy for patients ages 18 and over with a wide variety of diseases. Scheduled Hours:
Per diem, as needed
On site 1-2 days/week
No weekends, select holidays

The successful candidate will:
* Empower clients to achieve life-changing goals
* Provide individualized education to clients through evidence-based nutrition care
* Provide education to general medical nutrition therapy patients
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to recommend, implement, and monitor nutrition interventions with overall improvement in clinical outcomes
* Perform comprehensive nutrition evaluations and consultations to multiple patient populations using motivational interviewing and counseling skills
* Assist with program development, promotion/marketing, screenings, and patient recruitment
* Assists with departmental program evaluation and outcome measurement activities
* Provide education to clients on medical nutrition therapy
* Update and create educational handouts as needed
* Precept dietetic interns
* Provide nutrition education to members of the community

Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
