Business Unit Overview:
The Cachematrix business at BlackRock offers technology solutions "portals" to facilitate investments into money market mutual funds and other liquidity products. The investment portal offered by Cachematrix includes BlackRock funds as well as third-party providers and is utilized by investors actively placing trades or in an automated fashion using rules-based parameters. The system is designed to allow institutional investors to trade, analyze, report, and manage risk across large liquidity portfolios.

Cachematrix was founded in 2004 and acquired by BlackRock in 2017. The business operates in two primary segments: Direct Investor and White-Label sales. The platform was recently rebuilt leveraging the expertise of BlackRock as a leading provider of Cash Management and technology solutions.
Today Cachematrix's technology solutions are used by corporations, pension funds, foundations, endowments, insurance companies, traditional and alternative investment managers through its Direct Investor channel as well as many of the largest banks and asset managers through its White-Label offering.

Position Description:
Within our U.S. Direct Investor Sales team, we seek a salesperson calling on corporate treasury, universities, municipalities, and other institutional clients within a defined territory (hiring location dependent). The individual's primary focus will be to call on institutional treasury teams to generate new business opportunities with success defined by new accounts and assets leveraging Cachematrix's portal.

Key Responsibilities include:
· Independently sourcing new portal opportunities from calling efforts into the institutional treasury space
· Performing demos of the portal software demonstrating a deep understanding of the technology and how it is used by direct investors
· Engaging senior sales team members and subject matter experts within Cachematrix to help drive opportunities to close
· Partnering with internal resources throughout the Cash Management Group and broader firm to build relationships and referral network to identify opportunities
· Delivering market insight and expertise to clients
· Understanding the changing landscape of technology and competitor offerings to help inform Cachematrix product development efforts
· Travel to attend client and prospect meetings together with industry conferences and events
· Manage pipeline and reporting on activity

Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a track record in the following areas:
· Experience in external sales with Corporate and Institutional investors
· Understanding of technology as well as cash and liquidity product offerings including money mark mutual funds
· Commercial / Entrepreneurial Spirit - a focus on successfully developing new business while working in a team structure
· An understanding of the broader market, economic and industry / regulatory landscape affecting client investment activities
· Interest to use innovative prospecting methods around AI and technology
· Experience utilizing technology-based Client Relationship Management tools.

Skills and Qualifications include:
· 2 to 4 years relevant experience within financial services - ideally working with Institutional clients
· Experience in a sales and business development role with a proven track record in execution
· Proven contributor within a collaborative sales team effort across region
· Strong business development and written, verbal and presentation skills
· Series 7 & 63 (within 6 months of hire and as a condition of employment)

For Philadelphia, PA Only the salary range for this position is USD$105,000.00 - USD$132,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
