Job Description:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Backend Developer to join a technology-driven team working on the design, development, and evolution of modern microservices-based applications. You will contribute to scalable backend solutions, collaborate with frontend teams using React, and participate in cloud-native deployments leveraging OpenShift and containerized environments.
What You Will Do:
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
* Build and consume REST APIs following best practices.
* Develop microservices-based solutions and contribute to system scalability.
* Deploy, monitor, and operate applications in OpenShift environments.
* Collaborate with React frontend teams to ensure seamless service integration.
* Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
* Develop and execute unit tests and support continuous integration activities.
* Analyze incidents and propose performance, scalability, and security improvements.
* Work within Agile teams following Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

Qualifications:

Required:
* Proven experience in backend development with Java.
* Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
* Experience working with microservices architectures.
* Experience with Cassandra databases.
* Knowledge of Docker containers and OpenShift platforms.
* Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
* Experience using Git version control systems.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Nice to Have:
* Frontend development experience with React.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
* Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
