Présentation de la société : Company Overview HUB2 is a French fintech founded in 2019 by Ashley Gaüzère (Telecom 2004, ex-Orange Middle-East Africa), and joined in 2023 by late founder Jean-Rémi Kouchakji (HEC 2013, ex-founder PayinTech). The company emerged in response to the lack of an inclusive and efficient banking system in Africa, where most transactions are conducted via mobile wallets developed by regional telecom operators, HUB2 is building a payment infrastructure to facilitate the interoperability of payment methods across the region, including Mobile Money, bank cards, bank transfers, and cryptocurrency. To date, HUB2 integrates with 30 mobile money and banking networks, including major operators such as Orange, MTN, Moov, and Wave, and operates in nine countries in West and Central Africa. Our clients range from neobanks, payment aggregators, international transfer operators, microcredit companies, to e-commerce businesses. Currently, HUB2 processes EUR1 billion in annual transaction volumes across these nine countries. The company employs over 40 people, with one-third based in France (focused on tech and product development) and two-thirds in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (handling sales and operations). As a high-growth startup, HUB2 plans to continue this trajectory through 2025 and 2026 in West and Central Africa. Our ambition is to establish the leading payment platform across Francophone Africa. Context Following our Series A, HUB2 is entering a new phase: designing and structuring strategic assets that will consolidate its technological edge and prepare the pan-African multi-rail payment platform of tomorrow. Within this context, we are recruiting a Founders' Associate - Strategic Payment Projects (V.I.E.), based in Mauritius, to work directly with the Founder & Co-CEO (Infrastructure & Assets) on the design and development of HUB2's next-generation payment infrastructure. This is a high-exposure, high-intensity position focused on building the HUB2 of the future. Poste et missions : 1. Strategic & Managerial Support to the Founder & Co-CEO (Infrastructure & Assets) Work daily alongside the Co-CEO (Infrastructure & Assets) to define, structure, and monitor his strategic and operational action plans Support goal-setting and progress tracking for departments under his scope (Product & Offering, Engineering) and coordinate with the second Co-CEO (Executive Management & Growth) Prepare and follow up on meetings with Product and Engineering leaders, as well as thematic "deep-dives" across the organization Translate strategic orientations into clear, actionable operational plans and ensure their execution Track key KPIs, flag potential delays, and propose corrective actions Support monitoring of technical and product roadmaps, testing and demo phases, and productivity indicators Maintain constant awareness of the company's operational, commercial, and financial updates Prepare executive presentations for regulators, the Board, the Executive Committee, or strategic partners 2. Innovation & Product Strategy Work closely with the Co-CEO (Infrastructure & Assets) on the new-product roadmap, ensuring alignment across technical, financial, and commercial goals Support early-stage project definition, benchmarking, and flow-engineering initiatives Lead pilot programs with selected clients: design, supervise, collect feedback, and refine the offer before full launch Contribute to go-to-market strategy and ensure maximum adoption and impact Conduct technical, regulatory, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions 3. Special Project - Blockchain Initiatives at HUB2 Participate in Planning, budgeting, and leading the HUB3 blockchain project from A to Z Participate in Development and execution of the launch strategy for HUB2's on/off-ramp blockchain infrastructure to strengthen our remittance offering Participate with the product and regulatory teams on the VASP (Virtual Asset Service Provider) license application process enabling HUB2 to commercialize its blockchain infrastructure

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Qualifications & Experience Top-tier engineering education Prior experience in Tier-1 consulting, strategic projects in fast-moving environments (startup, VC, or scale-up), or fintech exposure is a strong plus Proven ability to work as a close partner to senior leadership Skills & Competencies Excellent written and spoken communication in French and English.
