Your Role
In your role as a Scientist (all genders) in the Structural Biology and Biophysics team in R&D discovery, you will design and perform biophysical characterization of recombinant target proteins and complexes with small molecules, degraders (glue/PROTAC), or multifunctional antibodies. You will generate, analyze, interpret, and report experimental data, ensuring high-quality protein preparations for structural studies. You will participate in external collaborations, coordinate data and material delivery with partners, and present findings in cross-functional meetings to illustrate how structural and biophysical data guide drug design. You will drive methodological innovation, help define experimental strategies, and mentor associate scientists, contributing to a collaborative, high-performance culture within multidisciplinary teams.
The position is limited to two years.
Who you are
* PhD in Biophysics, Structural Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field with substantial practical biophysics/structural biology experience, preferably in a biopharmaceutical/biotech setting
* Deep expertise in advanced biophysical techniques for protein complexes with therapeutic molecules (e.g., Refeyn, calorimetry, FIDA, MST, DSF, SEC-LS) and strong data interpretation skills
* Experience exploring protein-protein complexes (e.g., antigen-antibody or multimeric degrader complexes) to inform molecular design
* Experience supervising or training associate scientists, technicians, or students
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proven ability to acquire new technologies
* Team player with a track record in multidisciplinary collaborations and clear, effective communication in English
* Strong ability to present complex data concisely to inform decision-making
* Preferred: experience in protein crystallography or other structural biology methods; MS, SAXS, or NMR; oncology/immunology/neuroscience research; a strong publication record or notable drug discovery contributions
