Job Description:
The Planning and Execution Trading Operations Jr Analyst supports the integrated planning, logistics, and trading execution processes across the organization. This role is responsible for the execution of activities such as monitoring inventories, supporting logistics, operational and commercial planning cycles, pre and post-sales activities and ensuring accurate and timely communication among internal and external interested parties. The position combines analytical responsibilities with operational execution, contributing to process efficiency, service quality, and overall business performance.
Responsabilities
The candidate must be willing to progressively take on (not simultaneously) the activities listed below as part of their development in the role of Planning and Execution - Trading Operations Analyst. These activities will be assigned gradually according to the individual's readiness, performance, and learning path as well as BP's needs.
* Support short-term inventory and logistics planning across operational sites, terminals, and warehouses.
* Assist in the execution and monitoring of transportation, distribution, and scheduling processes.
* Contribute to domestic and export logistics execution when applicable
* Manage pre and post-sales processes, including pricing, contract performance monitoring and credit limit validations with commercial and treasury teams.
* Support customer, supplier, and broker onboarding processes and maintain accurate master data records.
* Coordinate communication among commercial teams, operational units, and supporting areas.
* Support annual commercial planning, monthly reviews, and operational execution meetings (e.g., SOP routines)
* Manage payments related to commercial, logistical, and service operations.
* Monitor and report daily KPIs covering operations, inventory levels, performance metrics, and commercial indicators.
* Prepare presentations and dashboards for management, weekly meetings, and performance reviews.
* Support scenario-building for decision-making, contributing analyses that enhance operational efficiency and commercial results.
* Update and maintain internal reports and databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and visibility across teams.
General Responsibilities
* Ensure alignment with internal policies, ethics codes, and corporate guidelines.
* Perform additional tasks of similar complexity as assigned by leadership.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, Logistics, or related fields
Experience
Early-career experience in either planning, trading operations and execution, logistics, or similar positions.
Technical Knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced)
Desirable: SAP, Power BI, VBA, and knowledge of basic regulatory or logistics processes.
