Job Description:
Would you like to be part of an ambitious and energetic organization with major international growth ambitions for the future? We are currently looking for a Category Manager with strong business acumen.

Category Manager with Commercial Flair and Global Responsibility
As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for the Feedstock Sourcing category at Shell Biogas, which involves the procurement of relevant products from industrial companies. You will also be responsible for defining the strategy for the category, aligning with internal stakeholders, negotiating agreements, and ensuring their implementation in collaboration with colleagues from other departments. As part of Shell Biogas´s growth strategy, several new plants are being planned and constructed abroad, including in France and the Netherlands. These markets are also part of the responsibility area in terms of general feedstock sourcing.

Specific tasks include:
* Negotiating and entering into contracts
* Establishing framework agreements
* Developing category strategy in alignment with colleagues and units across the company
* Building and developing market relationships
* Ongoing initiatives to optimize the biomass strategy economically

Your primary workplace will be at our headquarters in Odense, but there is also the possibility of working from Støvring or Aarhus.

Category Manager with a Drive for Progress and Strong Relationships
* We imagine that you have experience from a procurement function such as Strategic Buyer, Category Manager, or similar. Experience with feedstock procurement is not required but would be an advantage.
* You are a skilled negotiator who enjoys the negotiation process and establishing framework agreements and contracts. It is also beneficial if you are familiar with procurement processes, including market analysis, supplier audits, and cross-organizational collaboration with design, R&D, and supply chain functions.
* You are analytically sharp, have strong collaboration skills, and can navigate in an international environment across disciplines.
* You thrive in a dynamic organization undergoing significant international expansion. Additionally, you excel at building and maintaining supplier relationships.
* You are goal-oriented and strive to secure favorable agreements.
* Finally, your work is characterized by being well-organized, structured, and systematic. You are capable of supporting your strategies and recommendations with data-driven analyses and can present complex commercial contexts in a clear and understandable way.
