We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our growing technology team and ensure the performance, stability, and reliability of mission-critical databases within a large-scale financial environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining our Oracle infrastructure, optimizing database performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and efficient solutions.

Your Mission
* Diagnose and resolve database errors and issues
* Execute deployment scripts and manage database updates
* Administer and optimize database storage
* Perform data exports and imports as needed
* Monitor database performance and adjust parameters for optimal efficiency
* Oversee and verify backup jobs
* Develop and maintain comprehensive database documentation
* Conduct regular audits and security checks
* Collaborate closely with Linux and storage teams, database programmers, and web developers

Who You Are
* 2-5 years of hands-on experience administering Oracle databases on UNIX/Linux platforms
* German language proficiency B2 or higher
* Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL scripting; ability to automate routine DBA tasks
* Solid experience with backup and recovery (RMAN) and performance tuning
* Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance optimization
* Basic understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting
* Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with focus on reliability and efficiency
* Excellent communication and documentation skills; team-oriented approach
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
* Willingness to participate in on-call rotations (shared schedule within the DBA team)
