Logistics & Project Operations Specialist
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Project Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end logistics processes for projects and service operations, ensuring smooth execution, timely deliveries, and strong collaboration across teams and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Project Coordination
* Manage the complete logistics workflow for project and service activities.
* Perform project administration tasks, including creating purchase orders, delivery notes, monitoring shipments, and managing material receipts.
* Ensure timely procurement and actively participate in supplier selection, from tendering to project closure, with a strong focus on cost, lead times, technology, quality, flexibility, logistics, financing, and cash flow.
* Collaborate closely with project and service teams to support procurement strategy, especially for high-risk products, continuously prioritizing according to project timelines.
Procurement & Supplier Management
* Manage ordering and procurement of products from Schneider Electric suppliers and external vendors.
* Handle communication with international suppliers, monitor deliveries, prepare documentation, and organize transport when needed.
* Organize export activities and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks related to foreign trade.
Transportation & Logistics Operations
* Coordinate all types of transport based on business needs.
* Negotiate prices and conditions with freight forwarders and carriers, and monitor market price movements.
* Communicate with all transportation partners domestically and internationally to ensure successful delivery of goods.
* Manage transport-related insurance and ensure proper documentation is in place.
SAP & Documentation
* Work daily in SAP: create purchase orders, post goods receipt, and prepare invoices.
* Prepare and verify all documentation prior to invoicing.
Customer & Internal Support
* Provide operational support to Sales and Quality departments, working closely with project teams, service teams, Customer Care Center, and other stakeholders within the CS&Q organization.
* Support customers by handling inquiries, resolving claims, and managing product returns.
* Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
* Participate in digital initiatives aimed at improving service levels and customer satisfaction.
* Stay informed on regulations governing international trade and ensure all activities comply with legal requirements.
* Follow all workplace safety and fire protection instructions.
* Perform additional tasks related to successful business operations as required.
* Report monthly activities to management.
Required Skills & Competencies
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP (MM/SD modules preferred).
* Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* High level of accuracy, responsibility, and reliability.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).
* Understanding of logistics, procurement, and international trade regulations.
* Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude.
