The Position

As a Senior IT Business Analyst in the Clinical Site Operations Strategy & Collaboration Engineering team, you will act as a trusted advisor leading end-to-end workstreams to transform complex clinical trial data into strategic analytical solutions. Working at the intersection of data science and global operations, you will drive the development and adoption of planning applications-soon to be powered by AI-focused on enrollment forecasting, country planning, and site selection. This role is pivotal in navigating ambiguity and technical interdependencies to ensure our global teams deliver high-impact, well-adopted tools that optimize clinical trial execution.

Job Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership & Execution: Independently lead end-to-end business analysis workstreams, navigating ambiguity to translate complex requirements into strategic implementation plans and long-term solution roadmaps.
* Problem Solving & Innovation: Drive root-cause analysis and domain research to deliver comprehensive requirements, proactively identifying opportunities for creative improvements and ensuring solutions provide high business value.
* Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional stakeholders, facilitating workshops and shaping perspectives to align expectations with project goals and product strategy.
* Domain & Technical Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of business processes, data, and technical interdependencies to optimize information flow and improve overall system efficiency within the clinical domain.
* Operational Excellence & Mentorship: Shape team ways of working by implementing best practices and frameworks, while demonstrating content leadership through the mentoring of junior and intermediate Business Analysts.

Who You Are

You are a proactive professional who thrives in changing environments and possesses a deep passion for leveraging data to solve real-world challenges. You bring a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to every project.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst/Consultant, with at least 3 years in the Life Sciences or Pharma industry.
* Technical Literacy: Proven experience with data analytics, forecasting methodologies, and database tools like Snowflake.
* Mindset for Innovation: Strong willingness to learn and develop practical experience in AI agent workflows and LLMOps.
* Communication Expert: Exceptional ability to manage stakeholders and facilitate complex discussions across global time zones.
* Flexibility: Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and commit to collaboration during "Roche Golden Hours" (7:00 - 10:00 AM PST).
