Assistant Front Office Manager - Grand Hyatt Barcelona

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Assistant Front Office Manager to join our leadership team. This role is key to ensuring seamless front office operations, delivering world-class guest experiences, and fostering a culture of excellence among our colleagues.

What You'll Do

Lead and Inspire
Support the Front Office Manager in supervising daily operations, motivating the team, and ensuring exceptional guest service.
Drive Operational Excellence
Oversee front desk activities including check-in/out, room assignments, billing accuracy, and cash handling.
Team Development
Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing training initiatives to maintain high engagement and strong performance.
Guest Relations
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, collaborating with other departments to ensure satisfaction.
Optimize Performance
Monitor service standards, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to revenue-driven and cost-control initiatives.
Ensure Compliance
Guarantee adherence to Hyatt brand standards, health & safety regulations, and all operational procedures.
Communicate Effectively
Lead shift briefings, review daily activity, and ensure seamless coordination across hotel divisions.
VIP & Special Services
Support the creation of personalized experiences for VIP guests, special events, and high-profile stays

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

What We're Looking For

* Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within a luxury hotel environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English
* Proficiency in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office
* A guest-centric mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
* A true passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
