Dishang Group is one of China's largest garment production companies with Asian based factories and design offices in Barcelona, Seoul, USA, Tokyo.

Our Barcelona Design Studio is located in the centre of Barcelona and consists of an international team of product developers, designers, production merchandisers and fabric specialists covering woven garment categories.

We are focused on supplying the biggest names in fashion such as Inditex, Mango, Bestseller, LPP and many more within the European/USA market.

As the Production Merchandiser / Business Developer you will have account responsibility over 1 or a group of clients which we handle directly from our Barcelona office.

Job responsibilities include:

+ Developing a solid professional relationship with clients of your account by using strong communication and commercial skills.

+ Exceeding client expectations in sampling and product development and identifying opportunities to grow business with our design and fabric teams.

+ Following-up on fabric sourcing and fabric development for your clients. Including the ability to use your initiative to recognize potential fabric offerings to clients.

+ Negotiating prices and deliveries with buyers in case this is required for your account and work with our production teams to find solutions in costing and deliveries.

+ Leadership of your account's Critical path from confirming the order until the delivery of the production.

+ Closely monitoring Quality standards and inspections with our technical and China production teams.

+ Face to face and virtual meetings with clients, to present new collections and general business development.

+ Establishing close working partnership with our China based production teams.

Perfil

General profile requirements:

+ Any background in commercial roles, such as buying, production planning, sales is highly desirable.

+ A University Bachelor's degree in any relevant field such as, Business, Fashion, Design etc.

+ Strong communication skills in English, Spanish and Chinese are also valuable.

+ Driver's license.

+ Must have experience in a similar position and Asia production experience are required to apply.

+ Available for global travel.
