What's the job?
As Luxury & Leisure Sales Manager, under the general direction of the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving luxury leisure business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and positioning Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella as a leading luxury destination within the Mediterranean market.
The role focuses on identifying and securing high-value business opportunities through luxury travel networks, premium/consortia agencies, luxury tour operators (Leisure and golf segment), lifestyle brands, private client managers, concierge companies, and key opinion leaders, while creating meaningful partnerships that enhance the hotel's visibility and revenue performance.
Your day-to-day
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on luxury leisure, wholesale, and high-end travel segments.
* Identify, target, and grow relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, concierge companies, private client managers, family offices, and premium travel designers.
* Establish and maintain partnerships with luxury, leisure and lifestyle brands aligned with the hotel's positioning.
* Generate qualified business opportunities and maximize revenue across rooms, suites, spa, experiences, and events.
* Conduct regular sales calls, networking events, trade shows, roadshows, and client entertainment activities to strengthen market presence.
* Organize and host site inspections, familiarization trips, and bespoke experiences for key accounts, media, and partners.
* Collaborate closely with Marketing, PR, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to develop innovative campaigns, partnerships, and guest experiences.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging luxury travel patterns to identify new revenue streams and business opportunities.
* Represent the hotel and the Kimpton brand at luxury travel events, exhibitions, and industry forums both nationally and internationally.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, Marbella's luxury ecosystem, and destination partners.
* Prepare sales reports, account development plans, and revenue forecasts, ensuring achievement of individual and departmental objectives.
* Meet and entertain guests, clients, and partners on a regular basis to establish long-term business relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the Kimpton brand within the luxury and lifestyle community.
What we need from you
* Previous experience in luxury hospitality sales, lifestyle brands, luxury travel and high-end customer relationship management.
* Strong network within luxury travel agencies, consortia, wholesalers, concierge services, lifestyle brands, or premium client segments is highly desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
* Strong commercial awareness and proven ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
* Exceptional networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and project management capabilities.
* Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative partnerships and guest experiences.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results driven.
* Strong analytical and presentation skills.
* Fluent in English and Spanish. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
* Ability to travel when required.
