Under the responsibility of the local purchasing manager.
Principal mission of the position:

- Guarantee Purchasing performance for thescope covered
- Oversee all phases of processingfrom RFQ to POand customer communication on factored product resale
- Manage the supplier base in order to obtain the necessary improvements to achieve the above andensure the market positioning and profitability of our factored group products,protect the plant against potential unfavourable market trends with alignment with the VP of Supply Chain(Sourcing, Price lists, Contract management, supplier performance management)

Define and guarantee factored goodsperformance :
- Manages customer quotations needs and requests through multiple means of communication, to effectively provide high levels of quality service and customer satisfaction: delivery,CustomerOTD,claims
- Receives, documents, tracks incoming RFQ and associated pricing information directly or in cooperation with Sales or quoting system and process in a timely manner.
- Provides monthly forecasts in cooperation with sales on factored product line outside of tie-plates. Set logistic protocols with customers.
- Define pricing rules for customer, contract, vendor, per business unit guidelines.
- Utilizes understanding of customer order specifications to source specialty products from sister companies and manage margin per (COMPANY NAME) policy in quoting process.

Manage the supplier base :
- Manages, builds, develops, and maintains relationships with key suppliers and internal Pandrolcompanies to establish effective business partnerships.
- Set RFQsand implementseffective negotiation tactics to purchase factored product in a timely and cost-effective manner. Manage the Quality and Delivery Performanceincluding continuous improvement.Contract the supplier on every needs.
- Negotiate also : deliverylead-time,frozen/flexible/forecast delivery schedule and MOQ/MDQ quantity.
- Rationalize the supplier panel.
- Guaranty that every Purchase Order is placed in the negotiated contracts accordingly to decision made
- Assess risks, supplier capacities, avoidmaterial shortage or production disruption

Not only guaranty the best "Total Cost of Ownership" but also challengePandrol way of working:
- Develops and implements best practices in transfer price / resale price quoting and maintain a strong working relationship with finance on costs and margins.
- Manage and utilize quote system templates.
- Approves and issues purchase orders in accordance with (COMPANY NAME) policies, and negotiated terms and conditions, and measures and tracks purchasing activity.
- Be able examine and identify if CustomerT&Care in line withPandroland BU policies.
- Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
- Prepares monthly reports to provide accurate and relevant information for monitoring performance and established metrics.

Support other entities with Americas BU(US, Mexico, Canada)
- Identify synergies andshare best practices
- Support specific projects related to supply chainfootprint optimization(Make vs Buy)
- Sourcing and benchmark by use of cost breakdown analysis

* 18-month mission with post-VIE perspectives
* Vehicle. Contribution to covering a portion of accommodation expenses

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Engineering school -purchasing cycle
Fluent English.
A first experience is required

1- Technical and Purchasing Expertise (Cost Analysis, Purchasing Strategy, Negotiation Skills..)
2- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; self-motivated and proactive. Interpersonal and Communication skills.
