About the Role

The Manager Supply Chain (SCM) is responsible for the design, execution, and continuous development of Harmattan AI's global supply chain, covering:
* Components and Systems
* Infrastructure and Facilities
* Logistics
Reporting to the Head of Production and SCM, the role partners closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to enable scalable production, compliance, and long-term supply resilience.
The position operates in a fast-paced defense environment, with exposure to ITAR, NDAA, export controls, supply dependencies, and a mandate to support US market access through local sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities

* Build and scale Harmattan AI's global supply chain to support rapid growth across Europe, the US, and the Middle East.
* Develop resilient sourcing strategies for critical components and systems, reducing dependency on single sources and supply chains.
* Own supplier strategy for electronics, avionics, batteries, mechanical subsystems, and other strategic materials.
* Enable access to the US defense market through compliant, localised sourcing and supply-chain design.
* Lead supplier qualification, performance management, and risk mitigation.
* Oversee logistics, customs, and export-controlled material flows.
* Support factory expansion, automation, and industrialisation programmes.
* Partner closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on design-for-supply and make-or-buy decisions.
* Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers and industrial partners.

Candidate Requirements

* Senior experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally in defence, aerospace, or advanced electronics.
* Proven ability to manage regulated, international supply chains.
* Strong understanding of ITAR, NDAA, export controls, and supply ecosystems.
* Experience with complex technical systems (electronics, batteries, avionics).
* International exposure across Europe and/or the US.
* Comfortable operating in high-growth, high-change environments.
