A Day in the Life
This position is intended for the Value Addes Services (VAS) Department where you are responsible for a team which operationally assembles and packs components and blister into finished goods products, also some processes are focussed on repack activities. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Supervising the Value Added Services (VAS) department, leading a team of approximately 25-30 employees
* Monitoring order flow, resource planning, and daily people management to ensure timely completion of patient-critical products
* Inspiring and guiding the team toward best-in-class performance in quality, efficiency, and on-time order processing
* Ensuring effective issue resolution and clear communication with supporting teams, including performing root cause analysis, coordinating cross-departmental actions, and maintaining strong attention to detail and quality
* Building strong working relationships with your team of operators, supporting teams, and other internal departments
* Initiating, organizing, and/or supporting improvement initiatives within the department
* Combining operational leadership, strong communication, and continuous improvement skills to support and enhance Value Added Services logistics processes.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Proven supervision experience in a dynamic environment, preferably in logistics or production
* Availability to work in shifts alongside other supervisors (between 7:00-21:00)
* Fluency in Dutch and English, with clear communication skills for employees, leaders, and various stakeholders
* Strong influencing, convincing, motivational abilities and ability to meet deadlines, drive KPI performance, ensure compliance, and prioritize tasks to serve company objectives
* Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities, make informed decisions, and act quickly when needed.

Experience with Lean Six Sigma, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and familiarity with medical device environments are considered strong advantages.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
