THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Logistics Control Operator, you are responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring daily warehouse operations related to material movement, storage, and inventory control. You ensure efficient, compliant, and accurate warehouse execution while supporting internal customers and meeting daily and weekly operational targets.
In this role, you work with warehouse systems and processes, handle both routine and non-routine operational activities, and contribute to continuous improvement and capacity planning. You collaborate closely with colleagues across logistics and supply chain functions to maintain operational stability and service excellence

Responsibilities of the role:
* Plan, direct, and monitor daily warehouse operations related to material movement, storage, and inventory control.
* Execute routine and non-routine logistics activities to ensure efficient and compliant warehouse operations.
* Optimize storage of purchased materials and stocked items.
* Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain reliable inventory records.
* Resolve first-line system and operational issues and escalate complex problems when required.
* Support warehouse capacity planning and anticipate future storage needs.
* Ensure full Track & Trace compliance across all warehouse movements.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and customers to align on priorities and service levels.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and achievement of daily and weekly operational targets.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
* Secondary vocational education (MBO level) or higher, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
* Relevant work experience in warehousing, logistics operations, or inventory control is preferred.
* Basic knowledge of warehouse processes, materials handling, and inventory management.
* Experience working with warehouse management systems or ERP systems is an advantage.
* Ability to work in a structured, operational, and target-driven environment.
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with procedures.
* Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on mindset.
* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues across teams.
* Eager to learn, develop skills on the job, and take ownership of daily responsibilities.
