About the team
The Thales Hengelo organization is built around segments. A segment is responsible for assuring all activities relating to development and delivery of our products either direct to our customers or indirect to another segment that is responsible for delivering complete solutions to our customers.

In a segment, Portfolio lead, Product Project Managers and Product Managers cooperate with engineers, people from supply chain and colleagues from purchasing.

About your future job
As Portfolio lead you are responsible for setting up and executing customer projects in close cooperation with your project team and the Product Project Manager. You are allocated to the segment Surveillance & Multi-Mission and you report to the Product Segment Manager.
Within the segment one of the products is the NS50, a multi-functional radar for the Naval environment.

As a Portfolio lead you will help scope and define NS50 projects and deliver the NS50 radar in compliance with customer requests. You will drive forward projects by managing time, quality and project profitability and by ensuring customer satisfaction.

You have proven experience of working in a technical environment and have affinity with technical products.

As Portfolio lead:
* Have relevant experience in Project Management (managing complex projects)
* Are able to negotiate with demanding customers
* Have a good skillset in project management methods
* Have the ability to manage complex situations in a multi-disciplinary environment
* Have excellent leadership skills
* Are strong in motivating and organizing project team members.
* Have excellent communication skills and are able to communicate effectively on different levels in the organization.
* Are fluent in English
* IPMA certification is a plus.
