Join our Budapest Team and advance your career as a Retail Site Accountant!

In this role you will be responsible for managing the financial operations and reporting for assigned retail sites, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and a customer-centric approach to support business objectives.

In this role You will:
* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly financial reconciliations for retail site transactions, including sales, inventory, and cash.
* Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in operational efficiency and profitability.
* Collaborate with site managers and other internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries and implement best practices.
* Support the continuous improvement of business processes related to retail site accounting, leveraging agility core practices.
* Communicate financial performance and insights clearly and concisely to relevant parties, demonstrating strong commercial acumen.
* Handle customer enquiries related to financial transactions with a focus on exceptional customer service.
* Proactively identify and resolve potential conflicts or issues related to financial reporting.
* Contribute to sustainability awareness initiatives within the financial reporting context.
* Prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Essential Experience & Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar disciplines.
* Previous financial accounting experience.
* Proficiency in English.
* German language skills, minimum at intermediate level.
* Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness.
* Customer focused thinking.
* Readiness for action and ability to work under pressure.
* Self confident appearance in relations to the internal and outside world
* Strong communication and cooperation skills.
