* Prototype Function Development: Contribute to function development and system integration for R&A projects in the area of chassis controls (x-by-wire, active damper), utilizing model-based tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and real-time platforms like dSPACE.
* Embedded Software Implementation: Configure, compile, and integrate ECU software components in compliance with automotive standards using AUTOSAR and TargetLink, ensuring seamless functionality and verify code quality with static analysis tools such as Polyspace.
* Simulation and Testing: Develop standardized simulation environments for driver- and hardware-in-the-loop. Conduct validation tests across simulations, test benches and vehicles to ensure reliable performance. Design and implement automotive communication interfaces (e.g., CAN, FlexRay) and automate testing workflows
* Documentation and Interface Management: Prepare comprehensive system documentation, including architecture diagrams, interface specifications, system requirement definitions and algorithms for advanced steering systems
* Customer and Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with customers on function requirements, support global customer events and serve as the primary contact for specific work packages in customer projects
* System design: Maintain the system design concept, ensuring alignment with the system design processes and standards, while actively collaborating to meet project requirements and provide feedback on technical constraints
* Demonstrate product functionality and engage in technical discussions with customers and stakeholders
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across diverse cultural and technical backgrounds

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software, Electrical, or Embedded Systems Engineering
* Proficient in programming languages and tools including C/C++, Mathworks MATLAB, Simulink, Polyspace, Python, dSPACE TargetLink, Controldesk, Vector Tools, and microcontroller programming (e.g., Arduino)
* Experience with AUTOSAR for automotive software development
* Expertise in embedded systems, software design, function development, and vehicle dynamics & controls for automotive applications
* Solid understanding of system design principles, including requirements analysis, architectural design, and interface management
* Driver's license B; prototype vehicle testing license preferred (e.g., BMW B2,C1)
* Fluency in English , German is a plus
* Willingness to travel internationally; proactive, independent, team-oriented and highly flexible working style
* Strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused mindset and professional presence
