How will you make an impact in this role The Finance Automation COE team within the Finance Technology Data & Transformation (FTD&T) group is responsible for strengthening business engagement framework, identifying and delivering results on critical projects and initiatives leveraging process automation and the use of advanced technologies. We are looking for a motivated colleague who is collaborative and passionate about transforming processes using automation tools & capabilities. The Finance Automation COE team is part of the Finance Technology, Data & Transformation (FTD&T) group and partners with Finance and Controllership teams to modernize regulatory reporting and financial processes through automation, data transformation, and next-generation technology platforms, including Lumi. The individual is expected to play a critical role of partnering with Controllership and broader Finance leadership teams for regulatory & treasury processes supporting Fast Forward initiatives . This role will support Lumi-enabled regulatory and finance transformation initiatives, focusing on data sourcing , data quality, process standardization, controls, and automation. The analyst will work closely with product owners, regulatory SMEs, technology teams, and automation partners to help deliver scalable, well-controlled regulatory reporting solutions. The role will be based out of Gurugram, India Key Accountabilities * Works as a Tech PO in Finance BPM to support GCP ( Lumi ) regulatory reporting initiatives by assisting with data analysis, sourcing , validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation across regulatory and automation initiatives like Amex offers . * Help document regulatory business requirements, data lineage, controls, and process flows supporting US regulatory reporting (Tier 3 bank environment) specifically related to Automation COE * Assist in identifying data quality gaps, control weaknesses, and manual dependencies within regulatory reporting processes. * Support testing and validation activities for Lumi releases, regulatory Fast Forward initiatives, and automation deployments. * Assist in analyzing Finance and Controllership processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and control enhancement. * Support automation initiatives using tools such as FBPM, ACE, RPA, or Power Platform by helping with requirement documentation, testing, and post-implementation validation. * Build and Support Gen AI use cases for Finance teams. * Perform data analysis using Excel, SQL, or visualization tools to support regulatory reporting, automation outcomes, and management reporting. * Work within Agile delivery teams to support sprint activities, including backlog refinement, testing, defect tracking, and release readiness. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy. * Foundational understanding of financial reporting and accounting concepts. * Interest in regulatory reporting, finance systems, and automation. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort working with large datasets. Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with Lumi, regulatory reporting concepts, or financial data platforms (academic, internship, or training experience acceptable). * Basic to moderate knowledge of SQL or data querying tools. * Exposure to automation tools or concepts such as BPM, RPA, Power Platform, or ETL tools is preferred. * Experience with reporting or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy is preferred. * Understanding of Agile or project-based delivery models.
