Overview
We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo's mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. We are a global organisation, situated in 16 locations across 9 countries offering careers in various functions from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, R&D, HR and IT. We are seeking a Project Quality Assurance Lead to support the PGCS team. The individual will be responsible for conducting project health reviews with a strong emphasis on SOX Project Management controls. In addition, the role involves providing Project Management support to PMO team members and ensuring effective capability building and onboarding for new resources. The selected candidate will also be accountable for reporting and the development of necessary new PMO tools, as well as performing data analysis based on specific requirements related to project performance. This position is based in Cork, Ireland, and reports to Nicola Moore.
This is a SPC contract up to 24 months.
Responsibilities
* Compliance: Responsible for running reports to track adherence to processes by PMs. The role involves remediating gaps when a lack of adoption is identified, reviewing SOX Project Management controls and deliverables, conducting stage gate pre-reads, providing feedback to PMs, and escalating issues to the PM's line manager where necessary.
* Onboarding / Capability Build: Assists PMs with queries and general information requests, provides resources and tools for capability building, manages onboarding procedures for new team members by reviewing standard guides, conducts refresher sessions on methodology and tools content, and updates training guides with new criteria when applicable. Provide input into PM training and upskilling sessions.
* Reporting: Gathers project quality data from across the globe to be incorporated into established sector-level reports, with the aim to identify project management best practices and growth opportunities. Report on stage gate compliance, gaps and opportunities.
* Data Analysis: Performs ad-hoc data analysis requests related to SOX Project Management controls, project compliance, and performance. Collaborates to set standards for project health measurement and reporting.
* Communication: Ensures timely and effective communication and change management to facilitate the smooth implementation of new processes.
* PAL Taskforce Participation and Administration: Supports taskforces as an active member when applicable and carries out general administrative activities to support the function.
* Stakeholder Management: Lead PM forums and participate in PQA forums, liaise with PGCS/Global S&T COE and PAL members up to Director level. Work with Project Teams across PGCS functions and geographies to ensure projects are managed consistently and sustainably, in line with Governance methodology whilst also ensuring leadership are kept informed.
* People Management: Actively manage up to 2 members of permanent staff and potentially several contractors. Take ownership of people-related tasks, attracting and retaining talent, employee engagement, career development, team motivation, performance management.
* Release Management: Oversight of Release Management tooling, Charm, ADO and Solman, support change management Team to ensure technical changes are actioned with appropriate governance.

* Strong experience in Waterfall Project Management (6 years +) and Agile/Scrum (3 years +), project management and SAFE certification desirable.
* 6-8+ years of related project management and governance experience
* Functional knowledge of PGCS context
* Excellent collaboration and relationship management skills.
* Strong organizational, people-management, time-management and analytical skills.
* Strong competencies in metric development and data analysis (KPIs).
* Strong analytical thinking skills
* Deadline-driven approach
* Keen attention to detail
* Proactive attitude
