We are looking for a Engineering Bid Project Manager, to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Service Execution area.

Your Challenge
As Engineering Bid Project Manager your mission will be to analyze the Requests for Quotation (RFQs) received from the Sales department and to identify the most effective technical and commercial solutions within the portfolio of the relevant business segment.
Throughout the bid process, you will closely collaborate with technical, engineering, and procurement teams within your division, as well as with external System Integrators, to identify the appropriate technical resources and deliver a competitive, high-quality solution.
Your main activities will be:
* Support Sales activities for public and private tenders, coordinating and producing all required technical, administrative and commercial documentation in compliance with legal and corporate policies
* Within the Service Execution department, take direct responsibility for the preparation of customized solution offerings related to Machine Tool, Industrial and Process Control System retrofits
* Design and propose solutions including supervision, monitoring, remote control systems, industrial networks, and innovative digitalization technologies
* Prepare quotations for post launch services, such as Predictive, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, as well as tailored maintenance contracts based on customer-specific requirements.
* Operate across a wide range of industrial sectors and portfolio elements ensuring flexibility, scalability, and alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automation, or a Technical High School diploma
* Proven experience in electric motors and drives, automation systems, and HMI solutions; experience in Motion Control (MC) and control devices is considered a plus.
* Familiarity with the preparation of customized solution offerings as a plus
* Solid general knowledge of drive technologies, electric motors, and the configuration of PLC and DCS systems, including related industrial communication networks.
* Foundational understanding of Digitalization and Industry 4.0 concepts.
* Excellent command of the Microsoft Office 365 suite
* Strong willingness and ability to learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
* Availability for occasional business travel for technical inspections, primarily at national level
* Strong teamworking skills, complemented by diplomacy and high-quality interpersonal communication.
* A proactive mindset with a strong customer service orientation, goal-driven attitude, and the ability to work with initiative and autonomy.
* Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, workload and meet deadlines efficiently.
* Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex information, evaluate alternatives, and make sound, data-driven decisions.
