Descripción del puesto:

We're looking for a high-impact Analytics Engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working across the stack - from investigating root-cause issues in production data to adjusting backend services and occasionally fine-tuning dashboards.
This is not a cookie-cutter analytics role. You'll navigate backend APIs, ETL pipelines, and real business logic - often being the first to explore unfamiliar processes and figure things out when documentation is missing or assumptions fail.
You won't be building core systems from scratch - your impact will come from owning, adapting and evolving the data and logic we already have in place. Whether it's fixing a broken process, extending existing datasets, tweaking a DBT model, or adjusting the logic behind a Power BI report, you'll be directly contributing to keeping our analytics platform reliable, auditable, and useful to the business.
We don't expect you to know everything on day one - what matters most is how you approach problems, your ability to learn quickly, and your focus on quality and ownership.

What you'll actually work on:

* Improve, debug and fix broken or inconsistent data processes in existing Python/DBT pipelines to ensure our data products are highly reliable and our clients trust the insights we deliver.
* Investigate data anomalies and perform root-cause analysis to guarantee the integrity of data that drives multi-million dollar business decisions for our international clients.
* Integrate data from third-party APIs into our reporting systems to provide a complete, holistic view of business performance.
* Occasionally adjust Power BI visuals or support refresh/integration issues.
* Support deployments, monitoring, and release cycles to help ensure system reliability and high performance in production environments.
* Work closely with colleagues and the client, documenting processes, and managing work through Jira and internal tools.

Daily work reality:

* You would work as part of the 'Kolibris' team, a dedicated squad focused on delivering end-to-end data solutions for one of our key international clients, with clear ownership areas.
* A fast-moving, dynamic environment is part of the reality here - not a temporary phase.
* Reading, understanding, and debugging code written by others is a normal and expected part of the job.

Core skills we expect from you:

* Solid experience working with Python and SQL in production contexts
* Comfort navigating and modifying existing backend services and data logic
* Ability to read and debug unknown code - even when documentation is limited
* Familiarity with AWS, job orchestration, and basic cloud
* Working knowledge of version control (Git) and release processes
* Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ownership mindset
* Fluent English and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Desire to learn continuously - including new tools, languages, or systems
* Self-driven, reliable, and able to ask for help when needed.

Nice to have:

* Supporting Power BI through backend data and refresh logic.
* Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Zabbix, etc.).
* Exposure to production support or live system incidents.
* Interest in building or improving data governance processes.
* Basic frontend or scripting experience (e.g., React).
* Understanding of SDLC and client-facing / consulting environments.

What we offer:

* Monthly salary: EUR3490 - EUR5100 gross, depending on experience and scope.
* Participation in the company's stock options program.
* Flexible benefits and a personal learning budget.
* 10 Growth Days per year dedicated to learning and development.
* Real ownership and autonomy in your role.
* Hybrid work model, with flexibility and a preference for at least one day per week in the office.
* Support from experienced colleagues across data, analytics and AI.
* A strong, international team that values openness and collaboration.
