As an integrated body construction specialist, the company offers project business including plant engineering, toolmaking and prototype construction as well as the series production of body components from a single source. By utilizing the extensive synergies between these areas, Automotive Body Solutions is the leading contact for all aspects of bodywork.

* You are responsible for the strategic direction of the assigned commodity groups for tk AB worldwide, as well as for implementing global, sustainable procurement strategies
* You participate in final negotiations for key sourcing decisions within your assigned commodity groups together with the project buyer
* Drive sustainable optimization of procurement costs and continuously improve procurement processes by applying appropriate measures and tools, such as value analysis
* You establish a detailed understanding of cost structures for your assigned commodity groups and actively use this knowledge to optimize procurement costs
* Develop and implement a portfolio management approach for assigned commodities
* Create and execute a Best Cost Country (BCC) sourcing strategy
* Effectively group orders and quantities to achieve your savings and cost-reduction targets
* Lead and support final negotiations in close collaboration with project procurement
* Ensure compliance with defined procurement processes and standards
* Manage supplier escalations in accordance with the agreed escalation matrix
* Collaborate closely with Supplier Quality Development (SQD)
* Work closely with key contacts in Germany, primarily via digital channels

* You hold a university degree (at least a Bachelor's; Master's or Diploma is an advantage), preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or a completed vocational training supplemented by further qualification as a technician
* You have several years of professional experience in project and supplier management, preferably in the automotive industry
* You have very good command of English (German is an advantage)
* You think and work analytically, in a structured and independent manner; you demonstrate strong assertiveness and a confident, professional presence
* You have a solid understanding of commercial and technical interrelationships
* You have a confident demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication and persuasion abilities
* You are proficient in MS Office and SAP with strong presentation and facilitation skills
* You are highly resilient and capable of handling conflict
* You are willing and eager to travel internationally
* You are comfortable working in virtual, cross-location teams; relevant experience is an advantage
