As the Retail Operations Lead, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence across the Levi Strauss & Co. European store network. The role leads in-store labour management strategies, spearheads the rollout of omnichannel initiatives, and oversees in-store facilities management. Through strong leadership and change management capability, this role ensures the retail operations team delivers best in class store processes allowing elevated consumer experience across all European markets.

About the Job

* Lead in-store labour management across the European store fleet, including developing and implementing workforce planning tools, scheduling standards, and productivity frameworks to optimize labour efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining consumer experience standards.

* Partner with Global Retail Technology teams to influence and priorities in-store technology investment for Europe, ensuring critical tech projects are implemented on time, adopted effectively, and deliver measurable efficiency gains at store level.

* Define, track, and report on operational KPIs (labour productivity, shrink, facilities compliance, omnichannel adoption), providing regular insights to senior leadership and recommending corrective actions where needed.

* Develop and maintain operational playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across the European store estate.

* Partner with HR and Finance teams to build labour planning models aligned to business volumes and seasonal trading patterns.

* Partner with IT teams, beyond omnichannel, to act as the key voice of the field for POS systems, stock management tools, and retail tech upgrades, feeding requirements into IT roadmaps.

* Oversee in-store facilities management across the European portfolio, including maintenance contracts, store environment standards, health & safety compliance, and capital project coordination, working with landlords and third-party vendors.

* Lead, inspire, and develop the retail operations team through periods of significant change, applying structured change management approaches to embed new ways of working, tools, and processes effectively across diverse European markets.

About You

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
* 8-12 years in retail operations, with a minimum of 3-5 years at a senior level managing multi-site or multi-country operations
* Pan-European or international scope - direct experience leading operations across multiple markets, ideally including both mature (UK, Germany, France) and developing markets
* Labor management at scale - proven track record optimizing workforce planning and scheduling across a large store estate (typically 50+ doors)
* Apparel or lifestyle brand background - experience in a fashion, sportswear, or lifestyle retail environment where brand standards and consumer experience are central to the ops remit
* P&L and budget ownership - experience managing a significant OPEX budget, identifying savings, and presenting financial performance to senior leadership

This is a hybrid position based in our Warsaw office. You will be expected to be in the office three days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs.

The expected salary range for this role is PLN 248,000 - 337,400 gross per year. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance, and our needs. Salary ranges may vary by location and currency. Where roles are advertised across multiple locations, local ranges will apply.
