Reporting to National Operations Manager, The Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining the consensus 18 months rolling demand plan for finished goods and POS material at multiple levels of aggregation, using statistical models and insights from Sales, Marketing, and Finance. He/she manages the flow of supply to secure 100% Stock availability and efficient inventory levels. The Demand and Supply Planner ensures alignment with company's financial and sales plans. He/she works closely with his/her peers in Red Bull Portugal to develop, implement and share best practices in alignment with HQ.RESPONSIBILITIES

DEMAND PLANNING

* Responsible for analyzing the historical sales data, trends, base growth, distribution, market share and create/analyze a statistical forecast and determine the Operations Demand Plan in order to challenge/align with the Sales Demand Plan.
* Collaborate with Sales to understand the past performance of sales, drive root cause analyzes to understand error in prior periods and highlight inconsistencies the latest. Challenge the latest sales demand plan, to understand underlying assumptions and compare with the Operations Demand Plan.
* Own S&OP meetings to gain consensus on one single forecast and update/fill out/adjust the Demand Plan in the planning tools in accordance with the consensus.
* Responsible for aligning/composing the Placement Forecast for Point-of-Sales items, identifying risks and opportunities to the operating plan and financial framework.
* Manage the continuous improvement and reporting of forecast accuracy.
* Provide insights to the Business to conduct fact-based portfolio management and to implement a yearly SKU portfolio review cycle.

S&OP PLANNING / EXECUTION

* Based upon the consensus Demand Plan, generate the monthly local Supply Plan as input for the Global S&OP Process and manage inventory levels to ensure no out of stocks, inventory levels according to business plans and ensure healthy product age according to the quality guidelines.
* Lead solutions findings and execution of demand and supply imbalances.
* Manage product transitions of new and phasing out SKUs.
* Provide to the Logistics Manager with a rolling forecast for 3PLs on inbound, storage and outbound volumes

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

Demonstrated 3 plus years of experience working in areas of Demand & Supply Planning and/or Sales forecasting, preferably within the FMCG sector.
*
Comprehensive knowledge of retail accounts operations, forecasting technology, systems, market research data and supply chain management.
*
Proven ability to conduct complex, quantitative and statistical analyses complimented with qualitative inputs from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
*
Deep knowledge and experience in SAP - ERP & Planning tools.
*
Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
*
Self-motivated team member who can drive resolution to issues with strong problem-solving skills.
*
Ability to collaborate with other areas of the business particularly the Sales, Finance and Marketing teams.
*
Excellent communication skills, including presenting and training
*
Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
*
