Job Title: HVACEngineer

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading globalprovider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We arerecruiting an HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to join the team located in Chippenham.

The successful candidate willperform Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance to both Plant, Equipment andBuilding Services.

Role Summary

* Identifyand manage the risks to the client through the equipment on site, includingidentifying critical spares, improving performance of plant and equipment,managing the environment conditions on site through the BMS system and runningall plant and equipment efficiently, improving and implementing thepreventative maintenance program.
* Usingnew equipment and technologies to maintain a working and comfortableenvironment liaising with the client on any requests for certain reactive andPPM tasks.
* Faultfinding on all types of HVAC plant and equipment with a bias to the maintenanceof Variable Refrigerant Volume air conditioning systems. Working withrefrigerant and having the necessary qualifications in the handling of F-Gas.
* Supportothers in the team in relation to Health and Safety
* Performthe role or Energy Champion and assist in the role of Safety Champion for thesite.
* ProvideElectrical and Mechanical expertise to the Maintenance team.
* Writeand follow Risk Assessments and be available to question any issues which arisefrom them safely and accurately.
* Completionof the required documentation as specified with the requirements of all rulesand legislation.
* UseMobile Devices to accurately project and complete any works from the CAFMMaintenance System.
* Useof emailing / calendars to plan your daily work requirements so that all tasksare completed effortlessly and efficiently.
* Liaisewith onsite Supervisor and Account Manager to manage any Building Servicesrelated issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
* Tobe the responsible person when required for the team and deputise for the sitesupervisor during annual leave or sickness where required.
* Towork overtime as and when the business requires, this may include nights andweekends to which notice may not always be given.
* Performadhoc duties as and when required.
* Supervisionand management of sub-contractors.
* Participationon an on-call rota for emergency call out purposes out of normal working hours.

ExperienceRequired

* A Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship or Mechanical Competences / Qualifications to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical
* Strong proven experience in HVAC maintenance
* Good multi skilled ability
* Ability to fault find.
* Ability to supervise contractors.
* Able to complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements
* Able to understand and write Permits and safe systems ofwork.
* F-Gas safe handling and use of refrigerants.

* Working at Height Qualification
* IPAF / PASMA
* AP Qualifications
* BMS system experience
* HVAC Controls
