Job Description:
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on the control of explosives and carriage of dangerous goods. Working in a high importance department. Pivot point to the actual operation. There may be the opportunity in the future to sideway move, upwards and move into engineering areas of the business throughout operations and engineering.
Core duties:
* Applying for storage allocation and organize appropriate transport for deliveries, inter-site movements and off-site storage whilst raising paperwork in accordance with the carriage of dangerous goods regulations
* Supplying customer required ammunition data and release documentation
* Supplying, checking and settling all production orders to enable operations to manufacture in accordance with the production schedule
* Coordinating all work in progress (WIP) cycle counts and conduct stock discrepancy investigations & transactions
Essential Skills:
* Experience in transport and export, including international shipping, logistics coordination, tracked deliveries, and compliance with export regulations
* Proficient in SAP systems
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
The Team:
As a Resource Controller, you will oversee all resources being produced for the end client and ensure all products are transported to correct locations when required. You will liaise with the client ensuring the products are delivered to correct locations ensuring governance and documentation is completed by all parties and support in preparation of all transportation notes between BAE and the end client ensuring all additional stock is disposed of safely and in a correct manner.
