We are recruiting for an experienced Supply chain executive to join the team. The supply chain executive is responsible for day-to-day management of MSC supplier sub-contracts as well as supporting Customer supply chain requirements. You will also coordinate Third-Party pricing submission of tenders, extension, and contract renewals.

The ideal candidate will be based in Glasgow.

What You'll Do
* The Supply Chain Executive will drive value/savings out of the (COMPANY NAME) third party supply chain
*Track Supplier performance versus contract both financially and operationally
*Ensure updating all Supplier and Customer contracts to reflect current practice/status
*Work with Third Party Supply Chain Manager/ Sales team/ Tenders/ Implementation Manager/ Sales Service Manager to ensure seamless link between solutions awarded and solution delivered and financial monitoring.
*Work with Sales Service and Third-Party Supply Chain Manager to minimise pricing and invoice queries for Supplier provision.
*Conduct mini tenders for contracted Customers.
*Increase third party management fees
*Manage the Supplier element of contract extensions and renewals
*Manage the Supplier element of the tender process,
*The individual will be required to attend regular contract reviews in customer accounts relating to Third-Party contract performance to support MSC Supply Chain Executives.

Required Qualifications
* Proven track record in a similar position, supported by management and customer references
* Biomedical Science qualification desirable
* CIPS diploma or equivalent experience in a procurement role desirable
* Procurement and contract awareness is required although a broad understanding of the IVD market and diagnostic pathology working environment and priorities is desirable.
* Successful engagement with customers
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
* Technical expert for product line responsibility
