At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics. To further drive our successful growth, we will expand our locations in a targeted manner over the next few years. The topics of digitalization and simulations support us in planning for the future and in implementation.
Based in Oradea, we are looking for a Plant Simulation Engineer to help us optimize and manage our engineering activities.
What part will you play?
* Providing coordination and technical expertise necessary for the implementation of new means of manufacturing, changes and optimization within the existing processes and flow production.
* Participation or coordination in product and technology transfer projects; concern for continuous improvement of production processes and production flow, implementation of rationalizations.
* Participates in the calculation and definition of the production norms: realization and analysis of time studies, participates in making suggestions for improvement as result of normalizations.
* Support integration of new manufacturing simulation tools.
* Improve manufacturing systems using simulation, including problem identification, data collection, drawing conclusions and making recommendations.
* Improve and implement process enhancements, cost reductions and quality improvements, through the application of Lean and other Industrial Engineering concepts, based on a good understanding of information flows in plant content as well as improvement and optimization tools and methods.
* Support integration of new manufacturing simulation tools.
* Promote open learning culture.
What you need to make real what matters.
* University degree in technical field: Machines Construction Technology / Electro-Mechanics.
* Relevant experience in production processes, Industrial and Maintenance Engineering, in Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics.
* Manufacturing data analytics and statistical analysis background with proficiency in statistical process control.
* Basic knowledge regarding organization of places for work, normalization of work and quality systems.
* Capacity to work both independently and in teams.
* Language knowledge: German and /or English - medium level.
* Good knowledge of MS Office.
