Your role
* You will mainly act as the KYC subject matter expert and specialized practitioner, providing essential support to Client Advisors. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end operational KYC activities, including Client History remediation as well as client profile reviews, ensuring that all client documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with both internal standards and regulatory requirements. By identifying and addressing any missing or outdated information, you will ensure the highest quality of client records.
* Support the team in complex matters and be the main point of entry for Processes, Quality Assurance & Regulatory communications
* Support the remediation of deficiencies, monitor risk reports, flag relevant issues to the team and escalate if necessary
* Identify warning signals, evaluate and implement mitigation measures for process/quality related risks
* collaborate closely with client advisors, assistants and the desk head, as well as various other internal departments, also by tapping the know-how of the PQS community

Your expertise
* understanding of KYC/AML laws, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
* solid client profiling knowhow, ideally with familiarity with UBS systems such as CAWB, and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
* ability to work accurately and efficiently, with excellent organization and communication skills.
* team oriented and able to work independently
* prior KYC experience is a plus
* financial services experience, ideally within a client facing team or dealing with risk topics
* banking related education (apprenticeship, traineeship or a bachelor's degree)
* disciplined, with a focus on details and standards
* good written and verbal communication skills
* fluent in English; proficiency in German an advantage.
