Quality Manager & Lead IMS (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Manager and Lead IMS position is crucial in ensuring that the products or services provided by the site are fit for purpose, consistent, and meet both external and internal requirements, including compliance and customer expectations. You will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Site Integrated Management System and implementing new business processes. This role is regional in scope and involves collaboration with various departments to implement quality improvement initiatives, conduct training sessions, and ensure alignment with established quality benchmarks.
KEY TASKS:
* Set standards for quality, health, and safety on site concerning the Site Integrated Management System;
* Establish and maintain controls and documentation procedures, managing legal and other requirements at the site and country level;
* Manage and implement internal Bayer Policies, Directives, and Procedures, supporting LCS net and country requirements (CAPA);
* Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
* Utilize relevant quality tools and ensure managers and staff understand how to improve the business;
* Improve and maintain the Site Integrated Management System, maintaining site certificates and acting as the contact person for authorities regarding registration requests and questions;
* Manage site audit planning, execution, and traceability in collaboration with the quality assurance manager;
* Oversee site CAPA management;
* Participate in and foster exchange in Bayer quality communities, acting as the site contact person for the regional quality group;
* Compile Management Reviews.
WHO YOU ARE:
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field, ideally with a focus on quality management; a Master's or doctoral degree is preferred for advanced work;
* Prior experience in quality management, with a background in a fine chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment being a plus;
* Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and lead without authority;
* Strong customer focus and communication skills;
* Language fluency in German is a must, with good English language skills being a plus.
