Function Overview:
Support the audit and financial statement preparation processes for various American Express international legal entities, while exploring opportunities to automate existing workflows.
Purpose of the Role:
This role focuses on designing and implementing process automation solutions using emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, and tools like Python, PowerApps (BI, Automate etc.) tools. The objective is to enhance efficiency, improve accuracy, and drive innovation across financial processes. The role plays a key part in scaling automation capabilities, reducing manual effort, and enabling data-driven decision-making within LER processes

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of FinTech concepts
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Should be able to support, develop, maintain and support following applications -
* Python-based automation and analytics scripts with ability to use libraries such as pandas, numpy (ML basics preferred, not mandatory)
* Basic proficiency in SQL for querying, data analysis, and data validation
* Power Automate workflows including approvals, notifications, orchestration, and exception handling
* Power Apps (canvas apps) to support form-based or operational workflows
* Power BI dashboards to support performance monitoring, operational insights, and leadership reporting
* Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI frameworks.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in teams
