About Us
The Manufacturing Engineering function is key to influencing how we design, manufacture and assemble products, ensuring industrial maturity, efficiency, quality, and sustainability throughout the product lifecycle. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving process adherence, innovation, continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards within your team and across the wider operations function.

Position Overview

As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of industrial process engineering discipline, as well as provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring Industrial requirements are met and is applied to product design and development phases, internal manufacturing processes and our wider supply chain in general. Additionally, you'll you will have full budgetary responsibility for the department and will play a key role in transforming our industrial capabilities to align with industry and operation's needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Industrial Process Engineering team, ensuring the delivery of best practice results and continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing engineering strategies and policies to improve operational performance.
* Drive transformation projects to enhance our industrial capabilities and increase competitiveness.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize performance and ensure compliance with processes and other regulations.
* Manage budgets, forecast expenditures, and prepare capital expenditure proposals.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/manufacturing discipline.
* Proven experience in a senior manufacturing role, preferably from the Engineering sector.
* Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong understanding of lean principles and experience with industrial toolsets such as MRP/ERP/Manufacturing Execution Systems.
* Change management experience and the ability to adapt engagement styles to different audiences.

Desired Skills and Attributes
* Lean awareness (e.g., 5S, Kaizen/Yellow Belt, Green Belt/Six Sigma).
* Experience in total supply chain disciplines and full product lifecycle management.
* Previous experience in military manufacturing or similar high-volume industrial activity
